MEMBERSHIP
Emergency Management Group – Washington has two levels of membership: Member and Trainee. Members are eligible to participate in all program activities and perform other functions as determined by the Board of Directors. Trainees may have limitations on participation in program activities as determined by the Board of Directors.
All members must be approved by the Board of Directors following completion of a written application and interview.
QUALIFICATIONS
Trainees:
- Age minimum is 21
- Have a suitable background check
Members:
- Age minimum is 21
- Have a suitable background check
- Complete a minimum of 12 months as a Trainee in EMG-WA or equivalent organization
- Successfully complete training requirements determined by the Board of Directors, including FEMA IS100, IS200, IS700
- Maintain recurrent training required for their specialty
FEES & DUES
Currently there are no fees or dues related to membership; however, the Board may establish membership fees or dues.
